2 – Trek 2 – A route to Gralli Mount

A refuge in the middle of a valley of meadows

Ca 'Monte dei Gralli di Sotto is an ancient stone building, restored and used as a refuge. It is located at an altitude of 883 in the center of an enchanting meadow basin facing south and surrounded by a crown of wooded ridges. The possible accesses are different, but the most beautiful is from the Muraglione because it allows you to organize a large ring tour that has its fulcrum in Monte dei Gralli. The excursion is feasible in all seasons but is highly recommended in spring to appreciate the blooms of the meadow basin. The eventual final detour to the Buca delle Fate del Muraglione is a curiosity - the caves in arenaceous formations are fascinatingly rare - and an opportunity for unusual naturalistic observations.
