La Foresta Hotel

The family-run hotel restaurant “La Foresta” is located in Badia Prataglia (AR), a health resort surrounded by greenery in the Casentino Forest National Park, Monte Falterona and Campigna.
Being at 850 m altitude and being full of paths, it is the ideal place for excursions of a naturalistic nature (Parks, reserves …), historical (castle of the Counts Guidi Poppi, Romanesque parish churches of Casentino), religious (Camaldoli Monastery, Verna Sanctuary), or simply to regenerate, rest, read and … enjoy many first fruits. For lovers of bike rides, there is also the possibility to rent E-Bikes and it is possible to book specialized local guides for excursions in the Casentinesi forest park.
The hotel can accommodate CAI groups, school trips, school camps and also houses simple, traditional and genuine cuisine; in which hot appetizers are prepared with various flavors and ingredients.
