Lo Scoiattolo Hotel

Lo Scoiattolo, already known since the early 1900s as an inn in Campigna where lumberjacks and foresters used to stop there, is today a small hotel with services available to customers. Located in the center of the Casentinesi Forest National Park, it enjoys an enchanting position (1,068 m), which places it in the most beautiful and suggestive secular forest in Europe. A vast network of paths satisfies lovers of summer and winter trekking, paths that line numerous streams, among beautiful waterfalls that feed streams in the Romagna valleys, while the waters that give life to the Arno river spring from the slopes of Mount Falterona.
Open all year round, it has 10 rooms, including single and double rooms with the possibility of adding a 3rd and 4th bed. In addition, the family-run restaurant prepares genuine dishes of the Tuscan and Romagna tradition every day, accompanied by house specialties.
