06 - The Oia Valley

Papiano – Casanova – Giocarello Pass – Cascian Oia – Papiano Beautiful itinerary, with a long climb (over 800 m in altitude) but constant and all in all not terrible if faced with a regular pace. The path is almost always shaded. After the turning point at Giogarello we descend to Oia, which, apart from the historical and memorial values ​​related to the Resistance, is the most pleasant place in the whole area. The descent, quite demanding, is on a wonderful path in the valley of the same name.
