The Oia Valley
Papiano – Casanova – Giocarello Pass – Cascian Oia – Papiano Beautiful itinerary, with a long climb (over 800 m in altitude) but constant and all in all not terrible if faced with a regular pace. The path is almost always shaded. After the turning point at Giogarello we descend to Oia, which, apart from the historical and memorial values related to the Resistance, is the most pleasant place in the whole area. The descent, quite demanding, is on a wonderful path in the valley of the same name.
