From here merchants, pilgrims and soldiers have passed through the centuries to cross the Apennines and move from the Adriatic to the Tyrrhenian side. The Romei also passed through here, who undertook the extraordinary and arduous journey that would lead them to reach Rome and also to live an extraordinary human experience. Street frequented especially in the Middle Ages and\u00a0 we have written evidence, the most famous is Monaco Albert di Stade one, who from here passed in the mid-thirteenth century to reach Rome from the distant monastery of northern Germany.\u00a0 Nasseto, that it has been the subject of a recent conservative restoration, is a bivouac equipped with a fireplace and some ruins in memory of the
