2 – Trek 7 – to see Garden Valley

Where the signs of man are accompanied by a lush nature Medium length itinerary but of great landscape and naturalistic interest. The central section crosses the wild valley of Giardino ditch (which will be called Riborsìa below), a left tributary of the Corniolo stream. The environment combines ex-cultivation, reforestation and above all changing glimpses along the stream, with travertine-encrusted waterfalls, patches of forest thickened in the impluviums and on the steepest slopes, ancient signs of human presence (hydraulic arrangements in stone, fords, ruins of the Valdichiara house , etc.). The return takes place on the Fratta forest track which completes the circumnavigation of the head of the valley, with a long and never monotonous tour.
