2 – Trek 6 – wild Poggio Montironi

From Spescia-ascent to the Alpini path-descent to the Alpicella ridge Nice circular tour, recommended all year round and suggestive especially in winter because of the barren and panoramic ridge (perhaps too sunny in the height of summer) which culminates with the more than 1000 meters of Poggio Montironi. Near the destination there is an always open bivouac which can prove to be very useful as a shelter, while the ancient Spescia Castle, reduced to ruins but with significant environmental value, on the return ridge, gives the excursion an additional interest.
