B&B Imposto

The Imposto is set in a natural oasis at an altitude of 722 metres, within the “National Park of the Casentinesi Forests, Monte Falterona and Campigna”, one of the most beautiful in Europe, crossed by the crystal clear waters of the Gorgone stream. The first nucleus of L’Imposto dates back to the beginning of the 19th century and was from the beginning a base for the collection and sorting of the coal produced in the surrounding forests. The 4 bedrooms have been renovated maintaining the Tuscan style and the original features of the building, with wooden and terracotta floors and ceilings and exposed beams. Each consists of a ground floor with 2 beds (one double or two singles), and a mezzanine with two single beds, accessible by a folding ladder. All rooms have a private bathroom with hairdryer and independent heating.
