2 – Trek 9 – Through majestic trees around San Paolo in Alpe

From the pear tree of Ronco del Cianco to the "guardians" poplars of the plateau Nice ring path advisable not so much for its hiking value as for the aspects of naturalistic interest linked to the monumental trees that dot the path. Some of them are in an absolute sense, for dimensional reasons (it is the case of the two oaks or the beech) or for the extremely suggestive position (it is the case of the poplars of San Paolo in Alpe), while others in a relative sense: it is the case of the Ronco del Cianco pear tree or of the ornello above the Serra pass road, both remarkable if we consider that the respective species usually presents very modest measures.
