Bucine Mountain e Gemelli Mountain

Along the forest road that from Valico del Manzo (or Valbura) leads to San Benedetto in Alpe, on the right side, you will find Monte Gemelli (1207 m) and then Monte Bucine (1128 m). Monte Gemelli, the origin of name derives from the two similar and paired peaks, is a beautiful peak, climbable even in summer thanks to the cool shade that the dense beech forest offers. On the slopes of Monte Bucine there is one of the largest and most interesting open areas in the whole Park, with a remarkable biodiversity and the site of numerous measures related to the Life WetflyAmphibia project.
